It’s the million-dollar question that is asked more times than necessary to most women now. If you are single, you have probably asked yourself more than once: “Why me?” As many of your friends are entering into the next phase of their lives, it is easy to get wrapped up in what society perceives to be the normal path. Contrary to popular belief, most women are fine with singlehood. Here are some reasons why:

This may be one of the only times in your life when you can do whatever you want, when you want and not be restricted by someone else’s desires. You can be solo in decisions and make them not having to check in with your partner.
2. You can travel.
It’s one of the best ways to discover who you are. You’ll meet lifelong friends and make lifetime memories along the way.
3. You learn to be okay alone.
You’ll get to know yourself better and refuse to settle for less. It’s a quality you’ll need throughout your life. It’s better to go into any relationship with confidence in yourself and knowing who and what you want.
4. You can go on as many dates as you want.
The more, the better because the more guys you get to know, the easier it will be to know when you’ve found the right one. This period is the time to find out more about yourself.
Being single gives the time to focus on social connections, develop one’s own interests, passions, and desires. Finding joy in the opportunities with being single may help with embracing the many different ways you can live happy and healthy lives. As cliché as it is, try not to look for love. It will only distract you from what you could be enjoying in the present.
