In today’s world you have to be a magician, you have to know how to be in multiple places at once and even how to juggle. You’ll find yourself juggling a number of priorities; from your family, relationships and even your career. It’s very easy to lose yourself throughout the hustle and bustle of any given week. To perform at your best, you have to be at your best. Here are three simple steps to doing just that:

Pace Yourself
It’s very common to translate ‘busy’ to ‘hectic.’ When you have a lot on your plate, it’s necessary to pace yourself. Prioritize your needs and what has to be accomplished and execute accordingly. With structure and pace, you’ll find yourself completing tasks more routinely and fluidly. Small mistakes will be a thing of the past. You’ll begin to be more diligent with your work and will be satisfied with every outcome.
Make Time
No matter how packed your schedule may be, find time to check in with yourself and tend to your needs. Nothing is more important than your health and well-being. Make time for resting your feet and doing absolutely nothing. It’s natural to feel that activities such as these are counterproductive but remember, you are not a machine. However, like a machine, you will eventually need time to re-calibrate. So, when it’s time to get back to working, you’ll be fully rested and ready to take on anything.
Say No
No: a word so common yet rarely used when really necessary. Never feel obligated to do anything, simply because you were afraid to say ‘no.’ Only devote your time and attention to the things that either fulfill you mentally, spiritually or physically. When you only act on things that feed you, you allow room for growth. You face challenges with a sense of security and with no fear. Say ‘no’ to the things that don’t deserve your time, and don’t be embarrassed to do so.
