Confident Is A Compliment

Although women have progressed over the years in many ways, being self-assured is still looked upon as a masculine trait. This could partially be due to the outlook women have about themselves from lack of self-esteem, but most likely it is a result from how society perceives women. Either way, women have come too far in life and as individuals, not to be confident.

Taking pride in knowing yourself and your capabilities isn’t arrogant or vain. In fact, those who do are most likely able to create their own opportunities, have an easier time coping with difficult situations, and are overall happier people in general. Be wary of people who have an issue with you acknowledging your self-worth; jealousy comes in many forms

So, when someone says you’re confident, it’s a compliment. And the funny thing about it is that the person telling you may not even realize it their self. Sometimes you have to learn to take the things people say to or about you and give it your own definition. Constantly allowing others to define who we are or how we should be can be stressful. We kept this one short and simple because the message is clear: be fierce, be strong and be unapologetically confident.
